Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born into the music-loving parents of her family. The music she grew up with was classic Boleros from the past and traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic shows. Ana started learning how to play the piano and sing at an early age alongside her mother. She was given more formal singing instruction when she reached the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. While a young student and professional, she was a part of many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She's a regular solo performer at private parties and events, performing traditional Latin American Music. Her love and passion for music, art, and performing keep her engaged with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana hopes, with her performance her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire a love, especially for the young generation in keeping the music vibrant.
